I am delighted to share with you my "Treasure Boxes.

It all started with one special friend's Birthday. I told him that each day at sunrise, God waits excited, next to our bed side table with this treasure box, where He prepares wonderful gifts to give us in our daily treasure box. We only have today, 24 hours filled with great gifts. Some of the gifts are challenging and some difficult and some are breath taking, wonderful adventures. All we need to know is to wake up and discover through the day, these wonders. Then Christmas and New Year's Eve came and I did not know what to give others as a meaningful gift. And I remember the treasure box.

The treasure box can be used in wonderful ways.

1. Personal treasure boxes are for daily reflections. At the end of each day, just before falling asleep, write at least one good thing that happened and leave it in the box, each day starting on Jan 1st and ending on Dec 31st. Then the idea is to open the box and read through all what God has done, remembering the wonders and the victories. You can do it, every month...every week. Especially if you are going through a difficult day or week.

2. Couples or family treasure boxes. Each family member has his\her own colored notebook. Each member can leave a verse, an encouraging word, or a thankyou card, and each day or each weekend in your devotion time you can look and be encouraged. Couples can leave a love note in the treasure box for their partners.

We so often are so busy to stop and express love, thought or touching words. We get so busy so quickly. The colors at the box outside are the favourite colors of those whom I paint for. The inner colors represent the depth of the ocean, based on Psalm 42:7-8

Deep calls to deep

in the roar of your waterfalls;

all your waves and breakers

have swept over me.

8 By day the Lord directs his love,

at night his song is with me—

a prayer to the God of my life.

The shells and pearls are to represent the depth where we meet the God of Israel, the pearls are His answer to our prayer.

The birds painted on the top of the treasure box, represent sunrise. If you wake up at sunrise you can hear the birds singing to the glory of a new day. The Birds are painted all over the box including the bottom of the box. I send them with chocolates and Herbal teas. A gift from me. Those who receive them love the experience and the opportunity to take time and reflect over the day and invest in their relationship with each other and with God Almighty.
